I am very excited to share my newest album with you,
Music City USA Shabbat: The Soundville Sessions (Side A).
Earlier this year, I got a message from my friends at Jewish Life Television about filming a Shabbat special as part of their TGIF Shabbat Series. In April, I gathered some talented musician friends in Nashville, a film crew, and the great sound engineers at Soundville Studios. We recorded FOURTEEN songs all in one day! It was a long, but incredible day.
We mixed and mastered all the audio, and we were so happy with it, that we decided to make it into a live album! These are all songs I have already released on various albums over the past 10 years. But they were all chosen as Shabbat-specific melodies. To be able to re-record them in a live format with these fantastic musicians was a real treat for me, and I hope you enjoy revisiting some of these tunes. Please check out all the amazing artists who are featured on this album:
Brett Fromson, Amber Ikeman, Camden West, Russell Somer, Nioshi Jackson, and Joe Alterman.
Side A will have the first 7 out of 14 tracks, and Side B, which will be released in the coming months, will have the last 7.
Please check them out, enjoy, and share!
Wishing you a meaningful Elul and High Holy Day Season.
Sincerely,
